Olympique de Marseille continues its massive squad clearance this summer. According to club reports, midfielder Bilal Nadir has officially departed France to join Bundesliga side Hamburg on a free transfer, signing a deal that runs until 2030.

During his stint in the south of France, he struggled to cement a regular starting spot in midfield across Ligue 1 and the Champions League. In Germany, he joins a locker room that already features several former Ligue 1 players, including Martin Adeline, Albert Grønbæk, and Warmed Omari.
