Based on his remarks, Trunda sees major pragmatic advantages for his domestic federation. "I perceive very clearly the pragmatic benefits for Czech football if we worked in close cooperation with Gianni Infantino and his teams," the official stated.
The Czech FA leader acknowledged that while more details are necessary, his personal view is that FIFA's intentions are moving in the right direction. He specifically pointed to the financial lifeline promised by the global governing body.
According to reports, the injection of twenty million dollars promised by Infantino would provide invaluable funding to support grassroots football and infrastructure development within the Czech Republic.
Trunda's endorsement stands in stark contrast to the wave of criticism and cautious opposition voiced by various other football officials since the ambitious commercial project was first announced by FIFA.
