Although Aulas initially admitted he would have preferred to see Genesio return to his former club, he ultimately praised the high-profile appointment as a major step forward for the tactician.
"For a personality and a coach of very high quality, coaching OM is a point of progression. Anyone cannot coach Marseille," Aulas stated in his interview.
Aulas further emphasized that Genesio possesses the composure and tactical acumen required to handle the intense pressure at the Mediterranean club, expressing confidence in his ability to bring real value to the squad.
